Important server updates and maintenance

The scheduled maintenance is now underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.

We wanted to inform you that we will be performing essential maintenance work tonight, 31/07/2025 from 8pm (BST) onwards which may impact access to and use of some PPS services.

During the maintenance period, some PPS services may be unavailable for up to 4 hours. Affected services will include:

PPS Local/Hosted: Access to PPS Hosted/Local will not be impacted, but some services within PPS that rely on connections to our API such as E-Mail (only applies if you are using the PPS Hosted SMTP service option), SMS messages and software updates may not be accessible during this time.

PPS Express : The PPS Express service may be inaccessible for the duration of the maintenance period.

PPS Sync Server: There may be delays in Sync Server being able to upload and download records between systems during the maintenance period.

PPS Online Appointment Booking : PPS Online Booking services may be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance period.

PPS Online Forms : PPS Online Forms will not be available during the maintenance period. Form requests can still be generated and will send once normal services resume, but it will not be possible to complete Online Forms during the maintenance window.

PPS 3rd Party API access : 3rd party API access will not be possible during the maintenance period.

PPS Reg API : Sending emails and SMS messages will not be possible during the maintenance period.

We have scheduled this maintenance during typical out of practice hours to avoid any disruption to your service.

These updates are vital in ensuring that we continue to provide the best possible service to our customers.
